A simple sidescroller by Beth LaPensée, tracing pipeline development in the Great Lakes region. The player is the mythic Thunderbird (central to many Indigenous cultures), tasked with channeling lightning from stormy skies to either zap oil infrastructure or energize fossil remains or humans into life/protest. The final boss is an oil pipeline “snake.”
