Even in single-player, single-protagonist games, stories where communities act together for change can be powerful.
In one of the very first scenes of Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, Alba rescues a stranded dolphin – not by solving a physics puzzle but by quickly mobilizing the community around her and bringing everyone in to help. This foreshadows the resolution to the main conflict where Alba’s quest to gather signatures protesting the hotel development doesn’t ultimately just result in a useless piece of paper, but in a community united for a common cause.
